    LOL. Funny, you must have a very selective reading, because every single thread, this one included, both on this forum and on the Japanese one, always had a crushing majority against regional servers.
    The JP threads I've looked over have suggested otherwise. A lot of JP are very happy about it.

    The only thread I've seen on the English forums specifically asking for a yes/no opinion on regional data centers:

    I haven't seen any thread with the question asked in an unbiased manner where there was a "crushing majority" of no votes. Feel free to link me a poll showing something to the contrary.

    Yes leads no 2-to-1. Selective reading? I think not. The No group is just yelling more
    loudly.

    People who are happy with something generally have little to say compared to those that are unhappy about something.
