Then give me one good reason as to WHY we should all have our gil stolen from us, because as far as I can see, there is not a single reason.

We are getting a multiplier of 1/10 on every gil source, and all gil currently in the system.

So 1/10 of 100 is 10. If you wanted to go back to the old currency that would be 10/1 (10/1 * 1/10 = 1).

So the "number" of currency carried around is less. However the power of the currency is 10 times as powerful.

Basically nothing has happened. 1/10 the amount, 10 times the power. 1/10 * 10 = 1.

I understand the value crap, but there is no guarantee that people are going to conform and reduce their sell prices. THIS is the problem.

They might not right away, but eventually they will figure it out when they don't sell anything because people who understand what happened price their items competitively.
