This isn't the only game with NPCs overpricing. This is, however, the first game I've played where they steal your hard earned gil for no real reason.

*shakes head* uhmmmm whatever dude they're scaling it down for everyone and not all your "hard earned" gil. Basically your gil right now is pretty worthless you understand that right? It's worth probably about the same as the japanese yen or even the mexican peso but if you want to be blind and rage over them trying to fix and stabilize the economy because they're taking one digit away from EVERYONE'S gil then that's kinda stupid seeing how this is a game and isn't even real.
