No you don't Rokien didn't even quote properly. Yoshi never said he was going to a quest system, he only confirmed that for the first 15 levels of play...when ppl are noobs. This is why ppl ignore his threads.I am with rokien on this. I dont like quest grinding and like to exp grind and farm open world mobs. Now just because you think quest grinding is fun dosent mean everyone else will. Yoshi needs to keep open world grind and add the quest grind and let the players decide how they wish to level up. I have no faith in Yoshi and I believe Yoshi will be the down fall to FFXIV sooner than later.
Sorry I dont trust Yoshi and I am agreeing with rokien and responding to some1 else. If you dont like thats fine, but Again it comes down to the fact that I do not trust Yoshi, and I also disagree with the direction Yoshi is taking FFXIV. Now maybe he didnt quote Yoshi correctly thats fine but its all speculation. Now what I currently see Yoshi doing in the current 1.0 version leads me to believe nothing will change come 2.0, and actions speak louder than words, at this point in time Yoshi hasnt earned my trust or respect period. Until I see differently come 2.0 my opinion will not change. Everyone is entitled to their opinion like it or not.

I'm just saying its beyond stupid to trust Rokien over Yoshi.Sorry I dont trust Yoshi and I am agreeing with rokien and responding to some1 else. And clearly you never heard about the disaster this game was in upon release, because it has improved tremendously since then. If that doesn't earn trust or respect idk what does. Yet someone as challenged and clueless as Rokien somehow earns your trust and respect? Please do explain this to me; actually, I take that back. You should probably keep it to yourself.
Give me 1 reason I should trust Yoshi. Now players have been complaining about drop rates and they are terribly low, yet they refuse to put longer lockout times better drop rates, I could go on and on. Also the primal and boss battles are scripted. Seriously make all these primals and boss fights unscripted and spontaneous, add longer lock out timers. Meaning they can do any of there moves at anytime, they react based on what the party dose, now theres a challenge. The only challenge in FFXIV is learning how these scripted fights play out and thats not hard to do. I have heard of how horrible the game was, well so he added this he added that but in the end the direction this game is taking isnt the right direction. Now Rokien can say what he wants I dont belive him what I will believe is when I see otherwise at 2.0. Lets not forget this is SE we are talking about so putting your trust in Yoshi isnt the best idea as he works for Square Enix.I'm just saying its beyond stupid to trust Rokien over Yoshi.

You could just quit, since you're so unhappy here.Give me 1 reason I should trust Yoshi. Also, your avatar looks suspiciously like Rokien...

Take your pick of any of the hundreds of changes the game has undergone since 1.15. He's turned the game around and a vast majority, especially those not of this community, see it as a positive thing. Almost every site I go to that's not this forum is quite excited and pleased with the changes. He's doing a lot of good for this game. Whether or not his new game is for you is for you to decide. Seriously consider whether or not you want to stay when beta hits.Give me 1 reason I should trust Yoshi. Things like Primals were released like that to artificially extend content while they work on the actual fix, 2.0. I don't like it much either but that's the reason. The team was split and they could only do so much with the current system. Why redesign them at this point when they're making an entirely new game? See how they are in 2.0, if it's exactly the same then you have perfectly good reason to bitch.
The direction the game is taking is Yoshida's direction, it's not your place to say right or wrong. He was given the project and it is continuing under his direction. You decide if it's the game you want to play. If not, leave.
