Question is, why are you against quest grinding? It's a hell of a lot more fun than just sitting in one place for hours at a time.

Nooo way, all it is is Kill x mobs, run back, kill x more mobs run back. Why does talking to npcs give more exp than actually FIGHTING? You are going to be mindlessly killing mobs, why not just STAY in one spot so I don't have to run back and forth. Also, lets not forget how DULL those quests are. If grinding on a mob takes skill and teamwork I'll take that over anything else any day!

Pretty sure they said they are even adding exp parties to the group finder and there is nothing stopping you from killing open world mobs or duoing. Hell, im sure you can still shout in Uldah if you wanna live in your little bubble of 2003.

I got it. Scrap 2.0 hire Rokien as the producer. Have there be no level cap just grinding all day but have the best damn grass texture the world has ever seen. Instead of quests you can gain extra exp by arguing with him on the forums. The more likes you get and the more posts you make the higher exp bonus.

There's no adventure doing exactly what the game tells you though anyway so you might as well not.

There should be quests and all that crap obviously, but handholding you through everything can get very insufferable very quickly. "Go here" "go here" "go here" "go here". Especially when the quest objectives are barely 100 meters from the quest start.

It's been done very poorly in the past. And SE seem intent on repeating the mistakes of past games, so... you do the math
