    But now that I think about it, after reading some other recent posts.... If they do actually go with the idea of allowing us to jump into the water and swim around, I think that would help movement a lot too.

    I think it would be pretty sweet to have a cannonbal party jumping off a nearby hill or edge of a cliff and into a lake of water, just for fun and that immersive feeling.

    Oh, and chocobos will be able to jump, right?

    I would like platforming-type areas in dungeons. Would be really cool IMO. Like having to jump over lava and stuff, or jumping cliff-to-cliff to get to the boss.

    Jump like it's used in the classic console platform games like Super Mario of course. Next time you create a Vulcano, add some floating rocks on the surface to jump to.

    Though it's still hard to imagine a goobbue managing to get higher than a few inches off the ground - if it could manage even that. lol

    Jump should be as functional as many other popular MMO's.

    I want to see jump cancel spells, but it also has to be quick and efficient and not an overly drawn out jump.

    Jump should not be an emote as in FFXI.

    I need to be able to jump on objects, over cliffs, off cliffs, and hopefully jump through environmental puzzles and/or obstacles.

    All it needs is a short, 5 second cooldown or so (upon landing) so that you can always use it when you need to use it, but can't just continuously bounce up and down. Simple, and effective.

    I like jump for the environment. Jumping over a fence, jumping down a cliff or jumping from one stone to the next stone in a sea of lava.

    But no combat jump, please.
