Nobody is going to quit this game because jump can be turned off either, 'nuff said. If you are going to quit because I'll be able to stop you from jumping on my screen, then please, by all means, quit because you are clearly in the smallest minority of minorities.

They put man power on jump because it might appeal potential customer, they are not gonna put manpower on jump filter because well.. you are already a customer and jump filter isn't something you advertise in your CE box.

The fact you and those like you continue to obfuscate and obstruct an option only shows your hypocrisy when you wanted the option to have jump to begin with whether it was out of respect for having more "options" or because it makes the game more "fun".
