I didn't read all of the pages, but with jumping, couldn't we use it from jumping down from higher ledges or up onto a high ledge? Just a thought of how it could be implimented.

Spamming jump, eh? One could say that lala's spamming of /laugh is just as annoying, if not more.

Why did I read "Doodle Jump" and got lured by the topic exactly?![]()

People that wanted jump complaining about the lack of choice are the ones against the option of being able to turn it off despite the fact it won't affect their gameplay. Hypocrites, all of them.
RE: "Resources could be better spent elsewhere."
Fact: they could've also just implemented contextual jumping with fewer resources. Now get over yourselves. You got what you wanted, so you should give some.

Sorry, no jump filter for you. If we start making toggles for every tiny bit of annoyance in this game the menus would be all consuming, and twice as pointless.People that wanted jump complaining about the lack of choice are the ones against the option of being able to turn it off despite the fact it won't affect their gameplay. I will state this plainly - if jumping is a game breaker for you... actually no, if jumping is a game breaker for you by all means please leave. I'm done trying to dissuade people's obsessive compulsive disorders.
A better solution would be to make jump more meaningful. If I can tap space-bar to have my character leap into the air, then I better damn well be able to traverse over small ledges of terrain. No more Ankle size one way drops. That's what I want for jump.
Oh, and I want a feature to completely wipe someone from my visual spectrum, not just place their chat on ignore. /display dragon off. And not even an ignore notice will show. Cause I think seeing when someone on my ignore list has made a post is annoying and I shouldn't have to grow up and deal with it.
(And no, Dragon, I'm just being facetious, you're not on my ignore list yet.)
I just find this funny and hypocritical in the long run. People should be ok with toggles for everything else...but somehow people aren't allowed to get a toggle for this because...? I say this because if you oppose the idea of toggle for x you get called closed minded or "how does it affect your gameplay?" Yet you have someone who wants a toggle for jump...you get told no by said people who wants toggles for other stuff.
lol.

I am ok with this being implemented (more like i dont give a shit), i am just stating my opinion on how useless and silly this idea is.I just find this funny and hypocritical in the long run. Yeah it doesn't matter in the long run I just found it kinda funny whenever it's a feature they want, they'll reject a toggle for it, but if it's something they don't want/find annoying, they're all for it.
