So I've been making attempts at leveling the disciples of the hand, and I have a few questions I haven't been able to get answered through shouts and through recipe sites...

1. What impacts do the "item aglow" colours have?

So I've been making attempts at leveling the disciples of the hand, and I have a few questions I haven't been able to get answered through shouts and through recipe sites...

1. What impacts do the "item aglow" colours have?

The colors determine your success or failure chance of the next actions in order from high to low percentage being White > Yellow > Red > Rainbow.

There is also a bit of high risk/high return so success on Red or Rainbow can yield higher gains in quality, but there is still a large part played by the random number generator so the amount of quality you gain is still fairly luck based.

When the element goes unstable it may or may not further reduce the chance of success of your next action, but it definitely reduces the rate of progress.

2. What stats/ enhancements increase production growth, quality, etc?

Control affects the chance of an element going unstable if you fail an action.

Craftsmanship and Magic Craftsmanship are still a mystery, but certain recipes should favor one or the other. There are various theories on this, but nothing concrete has been given from the developers.

Each crafting class has certain attributes that affect it, one for main hand and one for off hand. Raising this stat should give you higher gains in quality.
