Can Meteor's next job not be melee?

Not gonna lie but the Paladin and Endwalker definitely leaves me puzzled. It's grasping at straws at best.

I saw it as embodying the protection of the source from the impending doom. It’s hard to match the thematic link of Shadowbringers though. Few jobs will be able to fit that perfectly, I think. Though they could always build a future expansion theme around a jobs concept
