Everything has been the same for the last few expansion but less. Normal raids are just a list of 12 battle that you run down as you walk into the room to fight each one in turn. I still can't bring myself to finish Pandæmonium. I just do not care about Dufus's next boring ass experiment. Raids use to be an adventure. Dungeons are just fancy hallways between arenas. "Difficulty" is just throwing more !@#$ at you. Yes, it is possible to have a challenge that requires your full attention and still be bored out of your mind. It doesn't feel like things the boss is doing, just things that are happening. There is no sense of place, something you learn a part of basic dungeon/level/map design.
The problem isn't that there are characters people hate. The problem is we are not allowed to hate them. Or decide who we like. Our character's emotions are predetermined by the story with no deviation.
Been playing a character on a trial account. ARR is just better, even though many of the dungeons have been raped of their charms. The Ixal grind is so much more engaging than Yok Huy or any of the past few beast tribes.
