Dungeons can still be dungeons, but why can't they have a different number of bosses? Or items to find and collect? Secret rooms? Traps to avoid? Puzzles? Parts that require parkour to traverse to the next area? An underwater tunnel you have to swim through? Have some fun with it! It's as if they've lost the creativity they showed back in ARR, or perhaps they're just restraining themselves. Either way, there's little point releasing more dungeons if they're all the same with different skins.
Prefacing by saying i love these ideas, honestly. More interactions in dungeons that would go away from the "straight hallway, 2 trash pulls, boss, repeat 2 more times" design paradigm the devs caught themselves in would be glorious. Still:

If the devs made part of a dungeon a puzzle, require actually jumping over a pit, or put traps on the floor like in Hullbreaker Isle? There would be parts of the playerbase that would riot and scream bloody murder. Can you imagine the shitstorm on social media and the forums? lul.
I still remember the "feedback" from pre-nerf Steps of Faith. The fight wasn't even hard...
