I care. They rather need to sync things tighter so everything doesn't melt.
add more depth to the ones we currently have like skill trees
My guess is they plan something like this since they've mentioned it specifically as an idea being floated.
return to making Job Quests so jobs can have an identity
Job quests were nice but the sheer amount to get through was overwhelming, causing people to just level jobs and ignore the quests. They tried removing crucial abilities as rewards from them but that didn't make the situation better, because most people weren't aware level 80 job quests were a thing due to them not being blue.

At least they change the dialogue as you progress MSQ. You can still go and tell them about your recent adventures.
add Pets jobs again there are not excuses that PS3 era could have them and we can't now.
Beast master is in the works.

Like it doesn't already, 1-2 and sometimes 1 in dungeons on 90% of the content isn't fun.

I never said to put skills locked by Job quests, i said to make again job quests to give the jobs an identity, which they've been lacking since Stormblood.

Yeah no. Jobs that cannot access 99% of the content without a party shouldn't be allowed in an MMO.

And it's never going to be open world again, the closest you're going to see is the large zones begun with HW. They tried open world in 1.0 and well, we all know how that turned out. Big open expanses of nothing.
I don't care even if it's "nothing". It's way more immersive to actually travel around the map and explore it rather than just teleporting from one Aetheryte to another. Current map design isn't any better than 1.0. I don't even remember most areas, because what I always do is I tp to the Aetheryte, fly on my mount, hit auto run and alt+tab. There must be obstacles that you have to fly around, enemies that can kill you if you're not paying attenton, meaningful points of interest. Things like that. And there must be no invisible walls.

There are plenty of games where this didnt break immersion at all. As long as it makes sense and the loading doesnt take too long.

What they do is save you the 'long travel time' effort to move between the zones. Something they already wanted to cover by using a dungeon as its transition (which isnt bad for this at all).

Loading screens enable far more area variety, because you dont have to worry about its transition taking place. It wouldnt make any sense to have an ice area, and a warm area close together, and a 30s tunnel to transition between these is still going to feel awkward. It would need a far longer tunnel for this, which then becomes a dull transition as its just a very long uninterested walk. They already did use this method in DT, but that was more about height diffirence rather than climate.

When loading screens compress an activity that otherwise would take more time, the loading screen is justified to be there. Thats not immersion breaking, long dull walks without progression are.

What long travel time? You can cross any map in less than a minute. It's not classic WoW where it may take you half an hour to walk from one quest objective to another. I'm not asking for the long dull walks. Because that's what we already have, except they're not so long. It's not just the loading screens. I want the game require me to pay attention. Okay they can do it without removing the loading screens, idc. Though I prefer the open world. Loading screens do not fully break immersion, as well as open world alone can not create it. But when there are less reminders that you are in the game, it becomes more immersive.

Blue Log entries, one mount and a handful of titles are not "99% of the content"

You can't convince me that Blue Mage was a good addition to the game as a limited job, it should have been a normal Job, they could make it work but decided to take the laziest approach of locking them out of all the content in the name of balance, as always no fun allowed. spitting on the face that people that love the job, like me.

Blue Mage shows all the potential of depth the game can have with the classes, and how the devs are able to do it, but once again we lose the fun in the name of balance and dull gameplay where every job needs to be the same for some reason that i don't understand.

Well i do, because it's easier to do, and cheaper.
