You won't see objection from me. I'd love to see what things are capable of later on.I don't understand the reason why even players are against that with something like "An Archer sprout would feel bad looking at what a level cap Bard brings when they're playing together in a dungeon". Leveling in XIV doesn't take too long, eventually the Archer sprout will get all they see.
The thing CS3 need to do is just give EVERYONE a basic AoE action before the level range of the 1st dungeon.

As much as I would love more open world content, this is what we will get:
6 zones
3 dungeons
2 trials
1 expansion leveling city
1 end game hang out city
Several weeks later we will get 4 raid bosses.
Then we wait 5 months for the 24 player raid, another dungeon, another trial, 5 more months…
Due to budget and staffing issues, I am not expecting the routine to change much if at all.
As it is now, we could probably figure out, to the week, each major and minor patch through the end of 10.5 unless they switch to 6 months between patches.
You say that, but a bland, empty open world is just as bad if not worse then what we have right now, and doesn't solve any issues.I don't care even if it's "nothing". It's way more immersive to actually travel around the map and explore it rather than just teleporting from one Aetheryte to another. Current map design isn't any better than 1.0. I don't even remember most areas, because what I always do is I tp to the Aetheryte, fly on my mount, hit auto run and alt+tab. There must be obstacles that you have to fly around, enemies that can kill you if you're not paying attenton, meaningful points of interest. Things like that. And there must be no invisible walls.
Also not commenting on the other reply in your post because I will just make someone mad lol
I look just like the roes next door... if you happen to live next door to an amusement park.
You can't convince me that Blue Mage was a good addition to the game as a limited job, it should have been a normal Job, they could make it work but decided to take the laziest approach of locking them out of all the content in the name of balance, as always no fun allowed. spitting on the face that people that love the job, like me.
Blue Mage shows all the potential of depth the game can have with the classes, and how the devs are able to do it, but once again we lose the fun in the name of balance and dull gameplay where every job needs to be the same for some reason that i don't understand.
Well i do, because it's easier to do, and cheaper.
Not every game has to have an open world.
It's like a really lazy trend tbh and it has become worse since BotW, when they started to put it in every game there is.
I'm not faulting people for liking it, you do you. But inserting it everywhere, even where it doesn't fit, has become a plague in modern gaming. I don't see the big problem with having loading zones, either. I mean, look at 1.x and tell me how well open world worked out back then. /shrug
Me too, Erenville, me too
Can you imagine the tragedy that will be Hunt Trains/S Ranks? Yeah no I think I'm good with it the way it is. When your loading time is short, it's really not much of an issue.
Through twilight, we endure.
Blue Mage would have worked best in a game without the trinity. Since we have the trinity system, BM will always be stiffled. You can't convince me that Blue Mage was a good addition to the game as a limited job, it should have been a normal Job, they could make it work but decided to take the laziest approach of locking them out of all the content in the name of balance, as always no fun allowed. spitting on the face that people that love the job, like me.

Yes i'm sure that doing hunts without having to Teleport or have a loading screen everytime you kill one must be a tragedy, instead of just being a big caravan going from one point to another.
I mean to be fair the blue Mage does have a lot of spells that are incredibly broken so it makes sense in terms of balancing issues. Not all of them are broken mind you but a majority of them are. And it kind of would defeat the purpose of having a tank or a healer for some of them. You can't convince me that Blue Mage was a good addition to the game as a limited job, it should have been a normal Job, they could make it work but decided to take the laziest approach of locking them out of all the content in the name of balance, as always no fun allowed
