Why on earth are you on a thread complaining about the DT’s relics if you are leaving the game in ShB because the normal content has overwhelmed youNothing, actually, which is why I'm not renewed for September because I didn't even need to reach Dawntrail before running out of stuff to do and nobody to do anything with. That I'm bowing out in the middle of Shadowbringers (recently finished Crown of the Immaculate after spending most of it on the floor) really says it all that the supposed "best expansion ever" was the one where I finally gave up because I well and truly can not keep up with Normal content anymore, and I'm done with being forced to leave duties and do everything unsync solo instead because I'm tired of being dead weight the further I get into each expansion with no hope of improvement.
It sucks that it took over two years to realize it, but that's on me for being stupid and thinking this game had anything for my skill level (even the MSQ) and I'm done with buying into the lie.
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
It's just their hobby to post on forums about content they never did or want to do due to being "casual" and still at ShB in 2025.
I first tried replying with actual options, like if they had wanted to make real progress, but not really, I gave up fast once I realized the truth.
