Isn't that "I might fail so I won't try" the non sequitor the entire elitist troll community is hitting the casual base with? "You guys just don't want to try and learn!" Yet here you are, perfectly willing to let AAA veteran game devs off easy with the same "they might fail so don't even try" type rationale.

Maybe if the devs/company aren't able to design content for the average MMO casual as well as elitists they don't deserve to be paid AAA industry standard rates as a reward for failing to do so, and people apologizing for it by saying things like this are not helping anyone.

It is not that difficult to comprehend a need to design multiple tiers of challenge and ensure they actually function for the intended audience. If the devs fail at that or the company refuses to invest in that, it is on them.
No one is being elitist. People want multiple tiers of difficulty but this is already normal. It isn't deep dungeon, it isnt varient, it isn't criterion normal or savage. This is as low as it gets and I hate to say it but any extra modes will make it harder not easier.

This is the bare minimum
