Demiatma drop rates are unacceptable

This topic perfectly exemplifies why the state of the game is what it is. So many pages of whiners complaining something wasnt handed to them. You know relics are optional right? You know theyre mostly just glam right? God forbid sonething in this game require a little bit of effort. You can get all 15 atmas in like 7 or 8 hours total of grinding fates in the overworld and people are throwing fits. This is why endwalker relics were a joke. People like the ones here complaining are quite literally ruining the game for everyone else.

Is it just the quest that says return to him with the demiatmas, because that's the one I have, but I've put about 10 hours in and I still have nothing. It hasn't been fun. Had this been Endwalker I would've either been done or halfway done. As it is I don't know if I've even started and I'm not sure if it's worth continuing. I hate OC and I hate doing FATEs so it's kinda the worst of both worlds here. Boring content mixed with RNG.

That’s the problem, relics aren’t meant to be like that. The first person to get a relic completed in HW did it like a month after the patch came out

I agree with you. Whole concept of just spamming fates in OC is tedious, boring and feels bland. I'd rather have to do a long quest chain or at least ask me to do dungeons, trials and so on. But I guess devs just had the easiest time with copy+paste of content and do fates.

To you. To me it gave extra value to literally anything I did. This is worse. You can dress it up or down all you want. Even after you do the bullshit rng it becomes tome dumping again anyway so they clealry are aware the first step is bullshit because they're not asking people to do it again. So in a way I am still right that freedom to do whatever you want is better than forced gameplay.
