Very, very few people die with dignity. Suicide's no different. Suicides are 1AM impulse decisions with a gun and a bottle of jack, and they don't leave a theatrical mess. They leave traumatized people and an absolute disaster area of blood, excrement, and viscera. They leave a ragged hole you can never patch up. People won't go into that room ever again. That place becomes hallowed ground in the most profane way.
I've been there when people die. They die screaming for their mothers, they die begging for a reason. Death is an awful, ugly thing, and no amount of sad music and melodrama will change that.
It was funny to me precisely because of the 'dignity' of it. He had everything I wanted when I took my shot. Respect, purpose, reason. And he threw it all away because what, he 'failed his emperor'?
My guy, you're not in the ground yet. Put down the gun, pick up a hammer, get to work. You failed when you let him build his empire on sand. Grow a pair and fix it.

I mean no one is going to talk about Zenos in the Royal Menagerie how horrific the scene must've been, blood literally gushing out of his 'nearly severed head', but instead he fell elegantly on a bed of flowers like a beautiful princess. I still believe my WoL who loves him got traumatized seeing that. It would've been a gruesome sight, I doubt anyone would be singing for freedom after that.
I certainly didn't enjoy the glorified assisted suicide at the end of EW, it soured the entire expansion for me, but hey I'm really super biased because I love the single braincelled blonde man.
