Someone hiding their true intentions behind "It's just a joke" are just a coward. I don't need a license to point that out.
Agreed, the list keeps getting bigger by the moment, I'll just be leaving the conversation here for now. They're all probably banned from other FFXIV communities, so they gather here to an unmoderated forum to just be awful people because it's the only place where they can get away with it. At this point I think they should leave the thread here, so everyone knows who to blacklist.
I'm French.
Since it's basically both our national sport and our raison d'être, I will comply as much as I want about everything.
And I don't even require a permit.
You'd presume incorrectly but I don't feel a need to argue with you about it. At the end of the day, at least for me, how anyone here views me is irrelevant lol. I wish more people in this thread followed that mentality too tbh.

Read what I wrote again. At the end of the day, it is up to you to decide how someone addresses you. If you're fine with it then that's ok also. But it's not up to me to adress you on a first name basis if you've asked me to call you by your last.I am over 20 + not married. I get called all 3 depending on who I'm talking to and what information they have available/what they visually see. Doctors call me Ms., the guy I pick up pizza from calls me Mrs. ("Have a good day Mrs.") and the guy at the gas station that likes to hit on anyone with a pulse calls me Miss.
Am I supposed to go rage at all of them and demand to be addressed a certain way? No. That's literally dumb. I'll just get my things and move on with my day.
most people do, it's just the screaming sanctimonious ones that are reeeeeeee-ing about anything that even slightly deviates from their position
dw about it, do your thing~
I know this is gonna be outside of your realm of understanding, as your ability to understand is extremely limited based on what I've seen of your posts, but it is not up to you how people address you. You can only request that they address you a specific way, but at the end of the day they don't have to honor that request. And if your Sena, who is extremely unlikeable and goes out of his way to antagonize people, they are actually more likely to not go along with your request.
You are from south america and you speak of "over there"?"Feel free"; i'm from south america and I don't like either of those jokes, racism isn't funny, making fun of the political instability of other countries like Venezuela or Bolivia is just outright cruel, have you seen the conditions people over there live like?
Just like it isn't funny to make fun of a trans person like a major bigot. Sena Bryer's accent is fine.
Uh-huh.
And yes, I know how things are over here, because I live here.
Reality sucks for us. You know what helps for coping with a reality that sucks? Humor.
And no, the VA's accent is not fine, it's fake because she doesn't even speak spanish.
Lol, I legit giggled.
Objectively no you are not just a woman you said it yourself you are a "trans" woman. Their is a difference. Biologically speaking you are still a man no matter how you try to dress or present yourself at the core you are a man.I too am a transwoman. I have absolutely no issue with anyone complaining about her work as Wuk Lamat, or her poor behavior. I think her calling out that woman for not being trans and saying she should be fired over it is absolutely detestable. I have no interest in defending her. I have no interest in Sena Bryer at all actually. The only point I'm trying to make is that regardless of her behavior or the things she said it doesn't make it okay for people to call her a he, which several people in this thread have done, or to say things like trans women are trying to be like women. We are just women. I have no sympathy for her, but just because she said some bad things doesn't mean we should stoop to her level.
A Biological woman does not need to add some prefix to who they are to denote what type of woman they are.
I say this as someone that is trans. I know I am not a woman no matter how comfortable I feel the reality is I was born a man and always will be a man biologically and to most people publicly.
Humor is man's way of coping with pain. Should a person with dwarfism be forbidden from wearing a green shirt, going to the grocery store, and buying Lucky Charms?
That was a dwarf comedian's joke, before someone gets offended.
I'm a suicide survivor. I'm the first person to laugh at those jokes, and I wasn't offended by Quintus deciding to stop pop and drop in the last expansion.
Assuming every joke comes from a place of malice is a quick way to find yourself in a humourless, colorless, and rather boring world.
