Read what I wrote again. At the end of the day, it is up to you to decide how someone addresses you. If you're fine with it then that's ok also. But it's not up to me to adress you on a first name basis if you've asked me to call you by your last.I am over 20 + not married. I get called all 3 depending on who I'm talking to and what information they have available/what they visually see. Doctors call me Ms., the guy I pick up pizza from calls me Mrs. ("Have a good day Mrs.") and the guy at the gas station that likes to hit on anyone with a pulse calls me Miss.
Am I supposed to go rage at all of them and demand to be addressed a certain way? No. That's literally dumb. I'll just get my things and move on with my day.
