    They're able to make quite a wide variety of gear with the stats that exist as it is. There's actually gear with stats that do not exist within the confines of our attribute sheet such as the enhanced skill effects, Store TP, Regen and Refresh.

    Simple and dumb? Simple is not a good thing all the time, especially in a video game. I want a very depth system with tons of choices.

    Simple and easy to balance. Things like luck, charisma, agility, etc... are all complex and, to be completely honest, redundant with how stats are now. I think we've got enough stats to worry about as it stands, we don't need to make it needlessly complex for the sake of complexity. There's no need for all those stats.

    Not to mention, as I said and you ignored, there are stats on gear that are not on the attribute sheet. We've got enough as it stands.

    Simple systems allow the devs to more easily balance content, gear, equations. In doing so they are able to more quickly create and implement said content. Needless complexity draws that process out a lot more. The more variables there are to consider, the harder it is to really create a balanced piece of content.

    Oh ya, because like the only stats that really effect me now are str and pie...... sooo amazing -.- Have to worry soo much about everything else.

    Have you balanced all that str and pie with acc and atk? Are you able to take a hit or are just a glass canon?

    And what's so in-depth about having another stat in the mix?

    This is just like your longevity thread. There's plenty in the game but you want things a specific way that usually comes back to "please make it be October 2010 again."

    Quantity is not a requisite of depth.

    Adding complexity simply to be complex is not smart design. It's a pretentious and frankly, amateurish design ideal.

    I hardly miss, why do I need acc. we hardly miss. Attack? I have ifrits harpoon gives me max dmg already with 0 cloths on.
