~Rationality falls quite short for those living in their own world~

You know how I roll my luck? For example: you need a piece of tape and 1k coins and a casino 777 machine. Procedure.
Tape L1 and leave it for about 10 hours and go to sleep. Next day you will have 9k coins and lots of luck streaks. That's how my luck rolls, at least in ff-xIII -2
Luck I'd imagine maybe affected hit rate and crit hit rate?
Still I agree with Zetonegi, dexterity and agility are basically the same thing, that's why you usually only see one of the two in games that have stats.
dexterity - physical, esp manual, skill or nimbleness
agility - The state or quality of being agile; nimbleness.
They are only the same if you use the definition that is closest to each other..... gosh. You can be fast. Fast at what though? Im a fast runner, im fast with my fists, ext. Its all context, I just wonder why they took em out.

Everyone's answered you already. Simplicity. This game was littered with needlessly complicated & ineffective systems. They are slowly, but surely, taking steps to correct this.
Sorry but if a single player game has more elements than an MMORPG, that's not right. I don't think they did it for simplicity because they took it out before the game even launched.
Maybe they were removed solely on the case of their being 'too many stats'. Since the stats aren't explained in the instruction manual players were required to work out how each one affected their character.
For a new player, that could be quite difficult. (e.g/ Playing as an archer, do I stack dexterity or agility? Or both?)
Plus how would charisma affect your character? If the game gave the multiple choice options during NPC communication I could see a point to it, but otherwise it's fairly useless as a stat.

CHR is pretty much a random thing to throw in and very few things even used it in 11. Like someone said, Luck is potentially stupid OP or worthless enough to not bother with in games that have it.
The way things are now it's streamlined enough, makes sense, and there's an equal number of stats and elements. There's a lot of games where AGI/DEX is your hit and evasion rate and its nice to have the magic stats mirror the physical stats since it makes customization/gear selection more straightforward.
Not to mention adding more stats and calculations will take AGES ><
Plus look at FF7, that games has looooaaaaads of stats in your characters status window, did anybody actually bother with them?![]()

				Yes; Yes I did.
And as far as BSTs and CHR go... yeah, they don't use them now but every day the game ran until Abyssea came out, CHR was pretty baller when there was appropriate level charmable stuff around. I'm sure it'll come back into play once the game shifts away from Abyssea.
