Haha, it got plenty of breaks. Lots of people learning Picto and Viper right now focused on figuring out how to play it, they're stepping in more bad places than usual. Shift+F also got plenty of use in the dungeon run (where I bind my AoE).

Logged in this morning, took a look at sage and remembered what they did last minute, logged out only to return a few hours later and tag pvp as usual... But the new jobs are kinda bland in pvp so...


Imagine still thinking the strike is about just adding more DPS. Those bad players have existed since ARR, so I'm indifferent to their plight. If they still don't have a handle on the job by level 90+, they're beyond hope so why should I care?Haha, it got plenty of breaks. It better not be that the reasoning because it would show that the devs have not even the most basic idea of how to design a healer in their own game. Even Wow which is much more intensive in healing has both a better healing kit and a damage kit because they know that both are important.

I'll say the same thing here that I've said time and time and time again in every single MMO that nerfs to the lesser skilled. "Stop designing your classes around bad players. I actually knew a Bard in Heavensward who put out less damage than a completely naked Bard spamming Heavy Shot. Upon asking if he'd like help to improve, their response was to get offended, and claim that they didn't want to play the game like a job.
YOU CANNOT HELP THESE PEOPLE. STOP RUINING THE GAME FOR EVERYONE ELSE BY CATERING TO THEM.
As i mentioned a few pages back, you can't be designing healers (or going by the latests trends all jobs) around the most common denominator. That's just not healthy for the game.

Like, even the naysayers admit that you're always going to have some time where your healer doesn't have to heal.
Why ignore that part of the healer kit. Why design it in the most boring, non interactive way. DPS players already despise 1,2,3 filler rotations in the classes, why should healers feel differently about their 1,1,1 situation?




The damage kit of a WoW healer isn't even that crazy and it's leagues better then what we have here. Smite: Single target Filler
Shadow Word Pain: Single target DoT
Holy Fire: Single target spell + dot component with a cooldown
Holy Word: Chastise: Single target spell with longer cooldown. Casting Smite reduces the cooldown.
Smite can reset the cooldown of holy fire + theres a talent you can take to both make holy fire AoE and a talent where Chastise makes your next couple holy fires instant with no cooldown. The DoT effect can stack up duration.
