You don't use High Flare for damage. Only reason to use it, if you are in ice phase want swap to fire like fire 3. You can also completely skip whole skill and use transpose and get full fire stacks with flare.

Yeah... from the looks of it Transpose -> Flare Flare -> Flare Star-> Foul/HT2 -> Transpose -> Freeze -> HT2/Foul -> Transpose -> repeat seems unironically worth it. Potentially you use (High) Fire II for swapping for AF3, but otherwise...

...man, we have been at this exact point with Shadowbringers where Fire 2 + Blizzard 2 were absolute garbage. Then we had Endwalker's "Enhanced Flare" and increase in potencies for the AOE skills and it actually was usable. Now we are back to spamming Flares again. Am I missing something or am I really gonna go back to basically nearly never using either spell again?
