Do I need to link all the posts in this thread that claim an anti-cheat will kill the game because of how much everyone relies on third-party tools? Because that's what I'm reading in the majority of the posts here. I used to think that add-ons were rare in FFXIV. Unfortunately, they're not anymore.

Right, except there's one small problem. Third-party tools aren't FFXIV. They're things that you use because you don't like the game as-is. I don't need to use illegal third-party tools. You do.

And yes, judging by community sentiment, it seems that a lot of people don't like the gameplay in FFXIV, which is why they turned it into Second Life. I don't see a lot of positive sentiment for Endwalker either.
