The same type of people that will tell you the alphabet is too long and should only include A, B and C and then proceed to only use A...What's really annoying about these people is that they come in and say "This job sucks", so you ask them why it sucks, then they proceed to say that X sucks because of Y and then they describe a very wrong way of playing the job, so you tell them that they're playing the job wrongly and this other way is the correct way, and then they hit you with "Well then, the job is clearly badly designed, they should make it so that it's impossible to play the job wrongly".
And that's how you get stale design.
...incorrectly.

There should only be one button, so you can't possibly screw up. SMN is the only good job in the game, actually.
Amount of pretentiousness in this thread is off the charts

We're gonna get the second coming of Dalamud, the game will be reset again and the game will be rereleased with epic cinematic sequences and the only button we'll ever have to press is the play button. EPIC.
Yes so pretentious for me to celebrate the job becoming more streamlined and better designed. Totally wasn't referring to all your inane and melodramatic reactions to the changes.
At any rate, the changes occurred. You lose, I win.
Oh don't worry we'll adapt to any changes no problem, we're the ones that are gonna be having fun in Savage, Ultimate, Unreals, Extremes and Criterion (Ultimate Savage Extreme Unreal) at one time or another, maybe not the same job, maybe the same job, but we will be playing and having fun.You act like it's not the norm to want to enjoy every job eventually. People are put off from engaging with jobs because of their current design and celebrate the changes because it means they are able to engage in them.
At the end of the day though, if you're maladaptive and can't embrace change your opinion doesn't really matter.
You on the other hand are gonna be spending your sub time hitting target dummies just to see animations for some bizarre reason like if it was the job trailer on repeat achieving nothing while not even knowing how any job works as evident from the last few hilarious pages.
And now I've hyped myself a bit knowing it's still gonna be fun raiding with friends again in a few weeks even if DT DRG doesn't turn out as good as EW.

Okay class, what did we learn today?
Giving feedback and criticism because you feel that you're losing aspects that you like about the job = Being a pretentious, maladaptive doomer
Calling people names and smugly mocking them by telling them what they like is sucky bad design while having an "I got mine" attitude = Valid feedback
Very good, see you next class.
Good job hyping yourself up! I'm really happy for you!Oh don't worry we'll adapt to any changes no problem, we're the ones that are gonna be having fun in Savage, Ultimate, Unreals, Extremes and Criterion (Ultimate Savage Extreme Unreal) at one time or another, maybe not the same job, maybe the same job, but we will be playing and having fun.

Just look at yourself, you think this is some sort of contest everyone's wrong and you're right, funny thing is you've complained about things no one cares about or the devs seems to not want to take actions on but then when people are actually complaining about Job changes (which is good feedback is always valuable) you just mock them and don't seem to have any sort of compassion towards people who may have actually spent a lot of time on those jobs and had fun.
You're the only one being pretentious here, Unironically you're saying that only your opinion matters.
