What is with the weird amount of 'likes' in those initial comments; i can't tell if they are 'sarcastic likes', or 'Oh-kupo-nuts-i-accidentally-clicked-on-that-orange-button' or just genuine likes, haha.

While I can't vouch for the intentions behind every comment, including those possibly crafted to elicit strong reactions or sow discord, I can speak to my own stance. When I express my lack of enthusiasm for Pictomancer, it's not about demanding immediate alterations from Square Enix. Rather, it's about providing constructive feedback that may inform their future decisions, especially as they expand the job roster beyond DawnTrail.

Although Pictomancer doesn't align with my personal preferences, it doesn't mean I'll abstain from playing it. It's an integral part of the game now and will remain so. My stance isn't aimed at altering the present but at contributing to the evolution of the game in the long run.

This thread probably caught the attention of an influencer on Twitter leading to a surge in engagement from their followers who rallied behind their viewpoint, or caught traction on Reddit, 4chan, and or some Discord server. Such occurrences often result in a noticeable spike in likes and interactions on these forums. Regardless, they are probably genuine likes of some fashion.
