If the FF XIV player population is in decline... why have I experienced a login queue, of consistent length, every single time I've logged into the game in the past 18 months?

To me, I don't know why we even talking about this because every game will have ups and downs when it comes to population, no matter what. To me, it shows that this game still has a lot of activity regardless of declining numbers (the shutdowns had a part in that and other things as well). At the end of the day, the game will be fine (if FFXI is still here after all of this time then FFXIV will be in the clear).
