Shadow priest can and a lot of the time will top DPS, and survival hunter is in a pretty good spot, probably better to get a clue before you write nonsense to try and make FFXIV look better than it is. "wow bad ffxiv good" is getting cringe at this pointLol where how WoW made it work. They literally homogenized their classes so far down it took classic popularity for them to realize "huh maybe we went too far". Also fun should be involved yes but you need balance as well no one wants to be the survival Hunter or Shadow priest after rework where both classes have had times are virtually unplayable in all aspects of game and just a meme.
are you for real now? or just trolling?I never liked Diablo, I did play some of 2 & 3.
So ill base my thoughts around that specifically......Diablo is not an MMO.
MMO = MASS Multiplayer Online. You can argue that the game being online with Servers could make it an MMO, but I think an MMO is a living Social Space.
So what I mean is, like in traditional MMOS, heck even Destiny, there is a HUB with tons of players around. Or even in the Open World there are other players fighting, crafting, mining, questing ect.
Even Anthem had this, so Anthem is an MMO (If anybody ever wanted to question that)
Now again, I never liked Diablo, I didnt play much of it (i tried) so not playing Diablo IV, I dont know, does it have an active social Player hub, with other players (NOT co-oping with you/in a party) running around and socializing?
you played 2 different games that was not an mmo so the new one that is an mmo cant be one as well. by this logic ff14 is not an mmo as 12 games before was not as well.
in diablo 4 you see players running in the open world. you can party for dungeons. there world events and bosses that you need more players to kill.
Doesn't matter what you consider it to be. The fact is Lost ark is an MMO. Being an ARPG and being an MMO are not mutually exclusive >.>
no they are on the fence on how to make it. and we know that to do it they need to make the content even more easyThey're currently on the fence about that if I recall, or more likely they've yet have figured out how to have AI do certain complex trial mechs without the usual overhaul of it. But for now they arent having CT and 8-Man trials be soloable for Duty Support. I hope they keep it this way, I feel like the whole idea of making the msq soloable is both good and bad since I feel they should focus on converting solo players into multi-players rather than just keep them entirely seperate but thats just me.
He is eating y'all up in these replies lolol
You have to group up with people to do the world bosses which drops exclusive materials. And while you can solo a lot of the random events, you'll find yourself barely completing them on time or not at all while solo.
Not true. Everything in the game scales depending on player count. Individual players are then scaled by the relative difficulty to their current level.
If you can't finish a solo Event, then that's a personal issue. I don't think I've failed a single world Event, and I've played all classes so far. Barb definitely toughest without the class perks though. Sometimes I don't hit the bonus for the event, but that's a challenge on top of the event and even with coop it's a challenge.
You also don't need to group up for the raid, it just happens because there's a lot of people there and then it automatically instances parties out when they hit cap. Ashava doesn't scale based DOWN based on your level, but it does scale based on player count. So yeah you'll fail trying to solo it at level 10. But could do it at recommended level (25).
You can definitely fail the world raid because of other players though. Half of your instance level 10's? You're gonna fail. Hard crutch on your instance. lol
