Yeah because making fun of someone for 2 weeks is such a great joke, just because they went to a venue, hilarious.

I mean if we're going on this premise that grinding is content regardless of peoples' personal feelings, then the game already has plenty of grinds embedded in it, and whether you do or don't like it absolutely sounds like a you problem.

I'm glad you asked. The thing I'm glad about is the relic grind being less grindy. Instead of running new content into the ground like bozja did with delubrum it tells you to just do whatever roulette you want (or whatever else gives unrestricted tomes). I also didnt say content got axed from the game (bozja and eureka are still in the game last i checked). Meaningless grinds like 60 HW fates or 15 syrcus tower runs got axed from the design philosophy. You can still do 60 HW fates if you find that fun. It's just not part of the relic grind anymore.

Relics arent mandatory though, if you didnt want to do the relic steps, you didnt have to do them, it was for those that liked to do it or at the very least could put up with it in order to get rewarded.

Farming an obnoxious number of dungeons is hardly what constitutes an interesting grind. In fact, I would argue that Eureka was over-glorified FATE farming for 90% of the relic progression, with the only difference being you could light farm chain bonuses and adaptations/mutations - That is when the relics were relevant for 4.5x, but now? Now they're just glamour so it is 100% just FATE farming. Oh scratch that -- How could I forget killing the requisite monsters to spawn them in the first place.

What someone views as interesting is entirely a subjective matter.
