Plain and simple.That is a self imposed restriction, no one is saying you have to wear level 1 glamour because the option exists, cause you are still free to glamour the only thing that changes is the possibly which already does exist by the way is some people may see you in different look on their screen. It is more selfish because you are creating a tangible divide because you rather not associate with certain individuals. While those in favor of the option are willing to share the and operate within the space ecosystem by offering a compromise that you will have no way in knowing who is or is not using it. You would more less be creating your own boogieman.
Also once again you do know this option already exists with mods. You are still playing so clearly it is not big of an issue to you on a moral stance. Also the way the mod works is it swaps out the character model altogether. So don't worry.
