Let's talk about Alliance roulette and ilvl cheese for a sec.

The ilv cheese is an exploit and needs to be done away with regardless of the situation with CT. How much this factors into throwing the majority of the playerbase into these raids time and time again when they use the roulette is purely anecdotal at this point, but we know it's a factor. The dev team is going to have to address this sooner or later as this is an actual problem. Reworking the raids or lowering the maximum ilv allowed so we have to deal with mechanics again are band-aid solutions that should be applied for the fun factor, not the ilv cheesing.

Curious. How many of you have actually got Aglaia when using the roulette? I've used alliance roulette at least 2-3 times per week since the raid was released into the roulette pool, and I haven't got it once.

I dont do alliance roulettes daily, but Ive had it pop a few times just when I do them for casual tomestone farming. Its really all just your luck vs everyone elses luck. Theres no evil elf conspiring against you to have CT all the time.

I don't believe in evil elves. Unless they come in the form of ilv cheesers. It should be quite clear that this is an exploit that can be used to force a CT raid. This needs to be eliminated regardless of the remaining likelihood of getting a CT raid in the roulette.

It will change a lot, actually. Assume 5 groups of 24 (who are level 80+) enter a roulette, and there are 5 ilvl cheesers. Multiple things can happen depending on RNG, anything from only 1 group of 24 getting all 5 of them forcing CT instead of the higher raids, to every one of the 5 groups getting one of them and being forced into CT. Now assume the cheese is taken care of. You have a true roulette. One of the groups may get CT, but otherwise there's a chance of Nier, Ivalice, or Void. So tell me, why are you people so against making it a true roulette instead of something you can game?

That assumption is not a very strong one, it's just one that fits your narrative. It's even completely ignoring that tons of people can force CT through as of now legitimate ways. Overall I am for fixing the exploit because I dont want to be pushed into nier raids all the time but the idea that it will push the needle on how many CT runs happen is based on no observable evidence, unless SE suddenly gets a data sharing mood. What it is likely to improve is the queue times for higher level raids, although even that is not a certainty. (Assume everyone doing ilvl cheese simply stops doing AR roulette alltogether.)
