I believe Square-Enix should put in a solo AOE practice mode and then incentivize using it. Battle Square at the Gold Saucer or something similar. Square-Enix doesn't want its players correcting the bad habits of other players in game, so Square-Enix should put some development budget into teaching players to hit their buttons in the right order.
