You're not really making a case for Island Sanctuary being fun if your only example of good content in it is "the ability to queue for other, unrelated content"

I'm a bit weird, because I actually find visual progression fun. I really enjoyed seeing my IS slowly expand over time. I personally am not trying to make a case for it being fun, but it is very rewarding content for the time being, if you are interested in certain kinds of glamour, mounts, and the like. Hopefully they add more, and make it more customizable with more things to do in general!
