Generally speaking it seems like there's a handful of people who equate asking for improvements to either be asking too much of the devs (regardless of whatever standard in the mmorpg genre has been established in other games) or in terms of the story that people either didn't pay attention or are simply too serious to appreciate the direction Endwalker took.

Holding a productive conversation is difficult when those individuals appear because it usually goes something like:

"I'd like for Blue Mage to be non-limited"

"Well *I'm* ok with it and so are so many others (source?) so you need to get over that it's not changing"

"I'd like for Viera to have more hairs"

"It takes time and effort to make those hairstyles you shouldn't ask them to overwork themselves"

It's just so exhausting.

I loved Elden ring, I got the platinum . I also really liked endwalker.

And I find it hilarious you mention ffx. That game had a ton of silly, cringy moments.
Yeah, at the start when things weren't nearly as intense as they got towards the end when the game us kill our aeons one by one and then killed off the main protagonist. Stop with the false comparisons.
