No, it's code for "They're a multimillion dollar company, let's not expect the same effort and quality as we do for small indie companies". Square Enix isn't some tiny company that can't afford to fix things. Yes, we can treat the employees like humans. But when the employees underdeliver compared to what they're capable of, it's fair to ask why.

Also may I say I really hate the "Am I really the only one who x" statments? No, you're not the only one. Stop pretending youre some special snowflake believing that nobody but you is capable of having different opinions.

You see this all the time and its just ugh.

If the FFXIV community wasn't such a pro-Yoshi P echo chamber in pretty much every social media hub except the Official Forums, maybe people wouldn't feel alone when they stop to ask if the praise is actually warranted. For example, if you go on Reddit, you'll find nothing but praise for the dev team, and any anti-dev post gets downvoted to oblivion.

If you find that question annoying it's most likely because you're on the more popular side of arguments more often than not, never leading you to have to ask that. If you're of the popular opinion, you don't have to look far to find people who agree with you.
