    I've seen what happens when this sort of thing is allowed. So I don't agree.

    But why, if it would only show your DPS?

    Because people will start demanding that you link your DPS to join a group. For veteran players like me "it doesn't matter". for new players who are just starting to learn "no group for you buddy. Play with the other rejects".
