This Community gets too worked up over people who DONT LIKE the story

I am sick and tired of people invalidating people’s positive experiences with the game just because they didn’t like the story. I’m sorry, but me personally, I DID NOT enjoy the story very much and I skip every single cutscene in the game….it just doesn’t matter to me that much.

I’m envious of people who DO enjoy the story, because Square Enix is known for their amazing FF stories, but XIV just isn’t one of them.

I won’t go into detail as to why I don’t like it, but we should stop witch hunting or insulting people who don’t like the story. Just because people didn’t like it doesn’t mean they don’t like other aspects of the game. For example, the boss music is phenomenal. Because I don’t like the story, I’m not a real fan then huh…..yeah no

that happened to me in game once lol. i was talking about how i didnt like venat sundering the star and some other people in the party got upset lol. then they accused me of misunderstanding the story. lol no i understood the story and venats motives just fine. she just had shitty reasons for it.

Because it happens too often in game, twitter, discords. Etc. Mention FFXIV’s story is bad in any of those platforms where ffxiv is being discussed. Watch what happens. You’re allowed to have an opinion about the story.
