You know well what I meant and are spinning it to fit whatever views you have of whatever even is going on in this thread. It might be the same for someone who does not wish to be a female or male or physically are not either. Is it not dehumanizing to anyone else it might be. I was pointing out that the feelings are similar, but one is listened to while the other is shamed.

I know what I am, and I know what I am not. I can decide. I may also physically be neither. I never disclose any information just preference. I am not a snowflake, no offense to them but I would rather not be roped in with people who will start fights to negate things many have worked for for years before they were even born, all for it to become tarnished and lumped together as is the way of the world.

Whether you like it or not, this game’s story has played around with political topics before, such as economic class struggles throughout Ul’dah that especially received main focus in the post-ARR quests, in-game political debates on immigration, clashes of different religious cultures later into the Doma saga of Stormblood, and the pre-Stormblood conflict of wanting to avoid helping another oppressed country out of fear of the main nations getting militarily involved themselves sure seems increasingly topical nowadays.

The entire narrative of this game has largely been centered around fighting back a fascist empire committing ethnic genocide. If 'woke' is something that bothers you, you've been playing the entirely wrong game (and series; this is a common theme in Final Fantasy) to begin with.

Some people mention that it would be a "monumental effort"..... as long as its only he and she which is the vast majority of what people ask for(they them would be nice for some i imagine, but noone kids themself about that) it would LITTERALY BE A FUCKING BOOLEAN VALUE!!! A FUCKING TOGGLE AT CREATION
We already have every piece of dialouge with a he and she version, its litteraly a single flag on the character they would need to reference to see what cutscene variation they should play.... its not hard




THAT SAID; i kinda do not agree with having the option, not because i am against Trans people or anything.. its more that i personaly do not see the Warrior of Light as "us" sure, we controll them, we play as them, and we created their looks.. but in the end, the Warrior of light as an entitity Detached from the player. Not unlike COmmander Shepard from mass effect, just "less pronounced" the WoL has its own Character to some degree, its own values, its own motivations that do not allign with us all the time, We are NOT 100% in controll of the Warrior of light. thats why certain things in the story evne are "not up to the player" becuase then woL would not react like thso players WANT them to react to it...




In Free RP, you arent the WoL, you are some adventurere. in that setting pronouns are up to you, but during the "game" itself(aka any premade content like quests or MSQ etc) you are a the WoL.
