If you don't think its worth your effort then you could consider giving up on crafting, implementation of a simplistic and base system like that would enrage a lot of crafters (the majority i think) by taking out all the interesting nuances involved in it.

I don't want to work for stuff and the game's RNG still decide I don't get stuff after I worked for it.

I want to work for stuff that I KNOW I will get if I work for it correctly.

It's not - that would be why I don't play gambling games.

Crafting in FFXIV is nothing but a huge time sink with a roll of the dice at the end.

Might as well go to a casino instead of craft in FFXIV - same game, but at least when I get lucky in a casino, I get real money.
