Not sure if it's root makes it less derogatory. There's a spanish word I could use that would result in a instant ban. So roots don't tell me much. I think it is more with the context of the word. Which I feel it was used in a derogatory way. And I would prefer if I were not referred in that way.

The things I listed I used for everyone LGBT or not.

I refer to most people as sir or ma'am as I am southern and as a child I would be popped in the mouth for not saying this, as I was told it was disrespectful.

This crap is only going on because people with crap mentalities keeps the crap alive. It is a weird sort of parasitic behavior really, how they all leech off one another because there is no other way to keep it alive. It is why they are so desperate and extreme in their attempts to take everyone and everything down with them.
