It seems the main problem some people have is they cannot take advantage over people who may not be able to commit to the critical moment due to things like work.

Which in return means that much more people will fight over the plots which decreases the chances for each person itself.

Well good luck for every private player wanting a house, it will probably get even harder to just own a small one since FCs will have a much higher chance thanks to being able to bid on more than one house.

Starting to wonder if introducing an aggressive taxation system alongside the current demolition timer would be a good idea? .

House owners already have do pay a tax, its called monthly sub. Unlike other players we cant just take 3 months off without losing our house.

Instead of punishing house owners even more, lets wish for a much better system where neither the demolition timer nor the lottery would be needed...after all SE gets a lot of money through our subs. Maybe its time to push a bit of that into housing. After all they at the same time keep on giving us so many housing items as rewards.
