Audio popping issue

So it doesn't make the known issues in the 6.05 patch notes, I get told in an email from support that it's a known issue, the post-6.05 patch notes once again fail to list it as a known issue, and now they're flogging some ugly headphones.

I am absolutely astounded. Just wow.

The only reason that i can think of why they haven't put it as "known issue" is because they have the big system and it's not reproduceable with their own hardware, that's why it's hard to trace and probably SE doesn't want to buy low end system. And they market the neckphones with confidence because it's just a small amount of people that experience that... I'm hoping i'm wrong but the truth out there lead me to this conclusion which is not fair.

This isn't an issue with low-end systems, minimum hardware requirements or upgrading. It's a software problem with the way the game handles audio. It can theoretically affect anyone, but it disproportionately affects certain hardware configurations, particularly those with AMD FX cpus. We have people in this thread (like the poster right above me) with brand new machines having the bug, and I have even seen people with Playstations complaining of the issue on twitter. Who are a dedicated QA.
If dedicated QA joint does not have variety of systems at hand for testing purposes, they need to be sacked.

This problem can affect everyone. But the faster your computer is, the less likely it is that it will occur.

And i would not judge SQEX for not listing this problem in the "Known issues" section. If they would list all known issues then this section could fill a small book. And the other thing is ... players with a Bulldozer/Piledriver-CPU are propably a very tiny minority of the whole playerbase.
