This is a great idea too, I can imagine what will happen after it's ran through the SquareEnix Filter...
Living Shadow II 120s CD Cost 100 Blood: 10s (9.2s) Duration, All Weaponskills & Spells used will cause your Living Shadow to Attack for 100 Potency.
Having Living Shadow work like Bunshin would help the job instead of it being a set of abilities that go in a certain order; also takes out the problem with the 5s Animation Lock for the 'summon' before they actually start doing damage in any particular raid buff window.
On another note I still want Blood Weapon to follow a Stack system just like PLD does in Endwalker. I can't emphasize how bad it is for DRKs that try to play in high ping and can't get their 5 GCDs in for MP and Blood. I would at least like to have some control rather than potentially lose resources because the in-game server tic decided I was too late.
Souleater should give 3 stacks of Blood Weapon and let you use Power Slash restoring MP and granting Black Blood in the same vein that Paladin gets Sword Oath Stacks for the use of Atonement.
Since they clearly want to homo the jobs to be simple they may as well be carbon copies.
They just need to put blood weapon as a 5 stacks with duration of 30 seconds and delete salt earth, because ground dmg abilities sucks. After that, transform salt darkness to be a reward when breaking the shield on The Blackest Night and make dark arts if they failed to break it(aka a free flood/edge). Afterwards, add no mp and a longer duration on TBN as Trait. Finally, delete this unmend trait because it's bad, lazy design and make living dead better. Drk would feel better, because right now there no way you would want a drk when there better options on Endwalker.

Would be nice if Salt and Darkness made the AoE follow you instead, sort of like a black mist or tempest of dark and blood.
The idea of making TBN proc Salt & Darkness on breaking is interresting but then it makes it even more mandatory for it to break to not lose DPS. Which a lot of people dislike. (I guess any DPS gain is assumed to be something you should always get and so instead of a gain, not getting it is a loss)
Or what if TBN would be dps positive if you can break it, and if it breaks very often ( say every 20 seconds ) DRK has the best DPS of all tanks. Otherwise, much lower, it'd make the skill and class at least have some skill to it in finding situations to abuse TBN.
At the very least it should be DPS neutral when not breaking. (Easiest way to do this is to remove the MP cost) and a dps gain when breaking (free edge/flood, X amount of blood like in SB etc...)
Would be kind of hilarious to have an ability that converts the Shield of TBN (which we could interpret as HP) into an attack deal that exact amount of damage (but cannot crit or direct hit).
Before anyone says it: I know, it'd make melds a pain for DRK 'cause different from other tanks etc etc. Just a random silly idea that sounds fun.
