    If they don't want to change BW they should just buff duration to 12 seconds. 5 GCDs easy.

    Delirium changes will mean that Delirium + BW combo will nerf MP return unless they increase MP return(they won't lol) since Bloodspiller got you 3200 over 4 gcds and Quietus got you 4400 over 4 gcds.

    With the incoming nerf you are likely to only get 2400 MP return off of 3 Bloodspiller and 3300 MP return off of Quietus.

    If the MP formula stays the same as is DRKS will be regenerating less MP during that window.

    It would be forgivable if Darkside costs were reduced to 2400(the OG HW cost lol) instead of remaining at 3000.

    I’m letting my sub lapse so this will be the last from me until SE decides to seriously consider DRK more than aesthetically edgy and wants to integrate some interesting gameplay… along with long asked for fixes of years.

    I never played a tank until DRK. I found the role intimidating and the tanks preexisting never appealed to me. When DRK came along I found a challenge that was worth the effort I poured into learning a rotation/finding how much punishment I could dish out before knowing where the line was to throttle back. It was rewarding and felt amazing to get it right!

    DRK has never been perfect but seems to be in a state of decay. All the cool stuff has been passed out or is no longer a system in the game or just gutted and simplified. It has been disheartening to watch. There seems to be no clear vision from the design team is what’s worse. They just throw stuff on a wall and see what sticks, or so it seems.

    I play healers and DPS but I stayed for DRK and it’s poor treatment has made the decision to go easy. If it gets better I’ll be back. I hope the player base abandons DRK so it will get a serious revamp. Until then, and maybe never given the track record, take care and see you again.

    When the "OG" cost was 2400 we had, what, 6k MP? Not quite 7k? Or was the OG cost actually less back then?

    Reducing the MP cost relative to our maximum MP really just means that we bank even more Edge/Floods for Trick Attack, so I'm not sure I want to funnel strength away in favor of frequency that we'll only feel in periodic dumps.

    Sorry to be that person, but Heavensward Dark Arts cost around 1768 MP while we had a cap somewhere around 6939 MP.

    Stormblood Dark Arts was the one that cost 2400 with a mana cap of around 9480 MP. Just wanted to fix some misunderstandings!

    The "MP restore" on Delirium was only ever meant to replace the MP-per-GCD average of a Souleater combo anyway. 600 MP on Syphon Strike over the course of a 3 GCD combo = 200 per GCD, same as Delirium. It's not really a nerf to MP generation to reduce Delirium to 3 GCDs because you're going to get that same average of 200/GCD by getting back to your regular combo two GCDs earlier.

    (I'm not really sure why Quietus is 500 MP instead of the 300 MP-per-GCD average of the Stalwart Soul combo. My best guess has always been that during Shadowbringers development, they originally intended SS to return 1000 MP instead of 600, it got nerfed partway through development, but nobody really cared about Dark Knight enough to make sure that Delirium was consistent with that.)

    Soul Siphon was supposed to restore 1000 MP huh. Must have been nerfed for Paladin's Soul Siphon that gives 1000 MP.

    Quietus MP return with Delirium has always been interesting to me. I guess their logic is more MP for more targets without giving you 200 MP per target.

    They really just need PvP DRK to come out of the closet.

    I'd like to point out a few thins that might be observable.
    The design choice at this point seems to be to make classes easier to understand / less complicated.

    Abilities: ​
    - The duration of "DarkSide" has a timer, how about making it stack up to a certain number ( ex: 300 seconds ) and when at 300 seconds you can use an ability ( which should replace "Living Shadow", ex: "Dark Form" ) giving you flat out increased potencies. This makes the replacement for living shadow more user friendly, tied to your resources and interactive.
    - For delirium you could just go into a 5 hit combo, like Paladin will seem to have in EW. People love those as long as you are using different skills, looks good and feels to have impact. If used under "Dark Form" it could have additional effects for each skill perhaps.
    - TBN could be made so that when its broken, gives you a free Flood/Edge of Shadow + a combo ability ( ex: Flood of Shadow -> Shadowbringer ) this will make it a DPS gain.

    -Passives:
    Adding passives to complement the "Dark Form" I listed would make each passive acquired feel unique.
    ​Ex: Instead of Enhanced Unmend -> While in "Dark Form" you heal for 200 potency every 3 seconds. If "Dark Form" lasts for 18 seconds it should be 1200 potency total.
    ​Ex: Instead of Upgrades to potency of "Living Shadow" -> While in "Dark Form" Living Dead gets upgraded to have a Walking Dead duration of 14 seconds.
    ​Ex: Instead of another upgrade to "Living Shadow" -> While in "Dark Form" , "Carve&Spit" and "Abyssal Drain" get enhanced slightly. ( more potency / different animations / new effects )
    Ex: When in Dark Form you gain 10% dmg reduction and 10% more dmg dealt.

    It's sad they haven't acknowledged all the amazing feedback people have given them for years on end. I was very close to deactivating my account until I accepted that Reaper might be worthwhile.

    It's gone from hopeful to despair then to simply accepting the state of this job. Most content in this game is good enough to justify a subscription but losing your main job really sucks. I wish the best for those that try to find greener pastures.

    I wouldn't mind just a simple tweak to Living Shadow to either make it Move Its Ass Faster or just a guaranteed unstoppable massive burst damage smart bomb/missile "summon".

    Living Shadow: When activated latches onto Hostile Target and deals massive X Potency damage that cannot be blocked or mitigated. If Hostile Target is Invulnerable, Living Shadow stays around for up to 30s staring into the Target's soul until Invulnerability wears off before dealing the lethal blow.

    Bonus points for funny flavor text "Oh my Gods It is just staring at me with crazy eyes and a huge sword poised to strike"
