I would reduce these to 5y. 5y is normal for targeted AoEs and 20y is kinda nutty in the not-good way. Imagine doing Bozja or Deep Dungeon like content and accidentally pulling a whole room or mob pack from far away with a DoT spell by accident.

Game: Propose, at most, one new button per job to improve DPS filler tedium. Any traits or changes that do not affect the number of buttons is also allowed, but try not to go overboard on a single job (keep it simple).
White MageEvery 3 filler spells (doesn't have to be back-to-back) grants a stack to spend on a new instant damage spell that is viable in both single-target and trash. Spend it on movement/double-weave or save for a "burst" phase.
- New trait: Divine Seal
- Every 3 casts of Stone/Glare/Holy grants 1 stack of Divine Seal.
- Maximum Stacks: 3
- New additional job gauge tracks number of Divine Seals and progress.
- New spells: Water/Banish/Banish III (traited upgrades)
- Instant cast time.
- Deals water/unaspected damage to target and all enemies nearby it, less for all remaining enemies.
- Divine Seal Cost: 1
ScholarGives SCH back a second DoT to juggle that is both asynchronous and AoE, so it's viable in both single-target and trash packs. Being asynchronous to Biolysis makes juggling the two dots a bit more challenging.

- Duration: 24s
- New spells: Miasma II/III (traited upgrades from Miasma)

AstrologianCards are the extra thing ASTs juggle with filler and healing. They are the closest to ideal complexity, in my opinion.

SageMight be too spicy, but kinda exciting (and adds 0 buttons to SGE). Eukrasian Toxikon would be super-duper dps positive, so it encourages SGE to break (and cast) an E.Diag shield at least once per minute. In instances where the shield just won't break (looking at you, dungeon bosses) or an Addersting is needed immediately, Pepsis can grant stings for each shield absorbed (good for openers). The new spell is viable in both single-target and trash packs.
- Pepsis grants 1 stack of Addersting for each Eukrasian Diagnosis shield removed by it in combat.
- New spells: Eukrasian Toxikon/Eukrasian Toxikon II
- Deals (heavy) unaspected damage over time to target and all enemies nearby it.
- Damage over time potency reduced for all remaining enemies.
