Just say you like the current design, say you like the changes, glorify simplicity above complexity, or worst of all say "healers should heal" as a blanket statement and watch the replies pile on.
Hey, I blame Sylphies because the job designers are Sylphies. They made that quite clear in the live letter. Healers should HEAL ONLY! Damage is only a tiny bonus! You should like overhealing as your primary source of enjoyment! The fact that there are several players cheering this on is just the cherry on top; it's one thing to design healers like flaming garbage because you don't play them and don't care to know how they work, it's quite another to praise actively bad design and screech for more.

I've been complaining about this game's hideous healer design as its major stain on an otherwise great game for about six years now. I'm done pretending I need to entertain the "ideas" from players who hate interesting design, hate responsibility, hate learning, constantly spout the same boring ignorant strawman arguments about how healing works; "You should be HEALING! If you aren't spamming cure you're playing WRONG!", "stupid RAIDERS trying to add more than one button in downtime making this game too CONFUSING!"

I'm totally fine with new players. Inexperienced players. Wanting to learn, practice, improve, all that stuff is great. Heck, even "I'm not that great at this, and I don't think I'll get better, but I do my best" is fine. My beef is entirely with people who proudly don't care about any of this and want the entire role dumbed down into their Netflix queue free pass baby pen and blow snot at anyone who objects to it.
