They never gave a crap about mch and it s core playerbase, and now that the very casual base loves it "i can press 1 button in a row for half a minute and things look cool while i can move without caring" there probably wont have any change anymore. Just look at how much people defend the fact mch's dps is fine because they can move, i m already prepared for mch to be behind RDM again, but they are a caster so it's okay.

Considering how easy, and how easy it’ll remain, MCH should never ever top any job DPS wise. They can fool themselves staring at Aggro, but the job has zero complications nor should it ever be above melee. I don’t want to see the simplistic job overshadowing stuff like SAM BLM or even DNC and BRD

It won't because SE is adamant on giving phy ranged a movement tax while also not giving it any meaningful utility that'll actually help the party.

They'd better remove that tax.
I've looked again at SMN, they only cast outside of summons and during Ifrit, two casts to be exact.
And there is no interruption between summons.

With a dash, Summoner is now more mobile than MCH. And that's in the case of Flamethrower being useless for another two years.
