None of them looked remotely impressive. Dancer even needs to be "simplified" because, apparently, it was difficult managing procs. They've all but admitted the Physical Range role is "baby's first DPS" now.
I would argue Bard looked better, as at least they did listen to what Bard fans wanted. They corrected the 80 second rotation issue. They gave Bard back a premier support ability and didn't remove battle voice while doing it. That was two HUGE complaints that needed resolving.

Machinist... I get why Machinist who have mained the job since 3.0 are mad. They were a minority but they are those who love the job the most, and it looks like they were ignored. I can see why SE did it because MCH is right now the most popular of the ranged. So in there eyes? The rework was successful and they just added some new stuff to the rework. For me I like SHB MCH, it's the only iteration of the job I ever took the time to learn and play. MCH seems to be more for those people who have moved to the job and less for those who stuck with it. Regardless of my feelings for the job that just is a feels bad.

Dancer? Yeah I feel the same on this one. I liked the core of Dancer but I felt it was a job very much in need of some more of something. Maybe a DoT added. Or maybe higher proc chances. Or another consistent offensive buff to manage. It needed some more complexity, not less.

Yeah, but that's not a guideline for healthy game design.
I wouldn't even say "loved the most", more like "screamed loudest on the forums" in many cases.
It is then no wonder that devs don't show up here on the forums, to chat with a lynch mob.
