I like the aesthetic choice of giving us a shotgun, but I really wish they had given us more gadget and just more techy stuff over all and hopefully do something mechanic wise to flamethrower. Visually FT is fine as it is.

MCH has been getting worse every expansion. Late HW MCH was by far the best. You did well and you were rewarded for it. Now, it doesn't feel like a pure dps class, support class, or anything.
Very happy with what I've seen in the presentation.
Don't have to fix what isn't broken.
Apparently Don’t expand what is just “ok” aswell while every other DPS in the game has somthing new? DRG BLM and SAM makes sense to view it as such but MCH hardly is comparable. Even BRD has a few new tricks and it has a larger kit than MCH.
Stagnation isn’t somthing that comes naturally to MMOs and it’s a horrible thing to wish for jobs as shallow as MCH to remain shallow.
But it is broken.
Flamethrower has been broken since 5.0 by SQEX. Now it just do half the thing it was supposed to do and they don't remove/rework it for some reason.
Barrel Stabilizer + Wildfire is broken since 5.0, it works fine until you reach the 2mins and you're forced to delay Barrel Stabilizer, therefore not being able to pair the two of them.
It's not healthy to always remain on the same base, change is good.
You may as well change the title to "Eulogy for the Physical Range"
None of them looked remotely impressive. Dancer even needs to be "simplified" because, apparently, it was difficult managing procs. They've all but admitted the Physical Range role is "baby's first DPS" now.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
Wish they would have brought back Turrets as an AoE damage buff for other players.
I would argue Bard looked better, as at least they did listen to what Bard fans wanted. They corrected the 80 second rotation issue. They gave Bard back a premier support ability and didn't remove battle voice while doing it. That was two HUGE complaints that needed resolving. You may as well change the title to "Eulogy for the Physical Range"

Machinist... I get why Machinist who have mained the job since 3.0 are mad. They were a minority but they are those who love the job the most, and it looks like they were ignored. I can see why SE did it because MCH is right now the most popular of the ranged. So in there eyes? The rework was successful and they just added some new stuff to the rework. For me I like SHB MCH, it's the only iteration of the job I ever took the time to learn and play. MCH seems to be more for those people who have moved to the job and less for those who stuck with it. Regardless of my feelings for the job that just is a feels bad.
Dancer? Yeah I feel the same on this one. I liked the core of Dancer but I felt it was a job very much in need of some more of something. Maybe a DoT added. Or maybe higher proc chances. Or another consistent offensive buff to manage. It needed some more complexity, not less.
With friends we actually made a fun tierlist of the job that looks the best in job action trailer. You may as well change the title to "Eulogy for the Physical Range"

DNC, WAR, MCH, DRK, BRD and SCH were at the bottom.
However it looks like MNK and SMN are joining the "Baby's first dps" type of dps, except they got much better looking abilities.
I'm giving up on SQEX job design, getting a rework is apparently an actual curse.
I actually lost it when they said at MCH "Well huuuh looks like there's not much changes on Machinist but let's talk about it anyway".
